Care and Maintenance

You will receive with your new Aquastor Tank a Care and Maintenance Schedule.

This Schedule must be adhered to for your Warranty to remain valid.


Warranty

The steel shell of your tank is covered with a Conditional Warranty. This Warranty covers your tank against either structural failure or corrosion for 20 years, conditional on the service of the tank and the replacement of the Sacrificial Anodes as directed by Aquastor Australia.

A qualified service technician will be required to service your Aquastor Tank at periods of 12 months from date of installation and 5 yearly thereafter. A nominal service charge will apply.

Aquastor Australia will not be liable for any deterioration or damage to your Aquastor Tank if servicing and/or replacement of the Sacrificial Anodes, as directed by Aquastor is not carried out.

Liners are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Aquastor will, at its option repair or replace your liner if leakage develops. A pro rata charge may apply dependant on the age of the liner. Your Aquastor Tank must be retained at a minimum water level of 100mm. If the tank is drained for cleaning, a minimum of 100mm must be replaced immediately.


Transfer of Warranty

Your Aquastor Tank Warranty is fully transferrable to new owners. Aquastor Australia must be notified in writing within one calendar month of the sale of a property where an Aquastor Tank is installed. This warranty remains subject to all the terms and conditions set out above and in the Care and Maintenance Schedule.


Limitations of Warranty

Aquastor will not be liable for general wear and tear to the Aquastor Tank, any damage caused to the Aquastor Tank by failure to replace the Sacrificial Anodes or any damage caused by any storm, earthquake, flood or other act beyond the control of Aquastor.

The liability of Aquastor for any breach of any condition or warranty inplied by the Trade Practices Act 1974 or the Fair Trading Act 1987 or otherwise is limited to the replacement of the Products or the supply of equivalent Products or the repair of the Products.

AQUASTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE to the extent permitted by law, all warranties, terms and conditions which may be excluded are hereby excluded.
